We increasingly don't trust the apps we use - or the ppl/governments that directly or covertly influence them.Decentralization - especially in social media - is rising in popularity.
Great primer Sriram! A follow up on something you alluded to on Twitter - risk/karma scores for bad actors. You mentioned using off platform data to set scores and ban actors would be a problematic pattern, but this seems to be the best way to scale high severity offenders (terrorism, CSAM) etc. Would sharing data to remove offenders be possible in decentralized n/ws? Would love your perspective on it
